Introduction:
Awareness to sexual medicine and its relation to mental health status recently became a great interest to medical service providers, many of the psychiatrist and psychotherapists who regularly attend clinics are the first hand to detect mental health problem in patients with sexual disorder. Educational courses focusing on sexual medicine and psychiatry are deficient. Objectives:
1. Explaining in details the sexuality development from bio-psycho-social perspective.
2. Presenting a detailed understanding of sexual disorders in males and females
3. Focusing on methods for early detection of sexual dysfunction in psychiatric patients
4. Explaining the risk factors for mental disorder in patients subjected to sexual violence.
5. Highlights the way of assessment described to mental health and various forms of psychological distress.
6. Explaining therapeutic different approaches .
